Need help building a car?  The Pinewood Derby Car Work-Day will be held on Saturday, March, 3,2018.  We are having a work day to help build your Pinewood Derby car.  Parents/Guardians MUST attend to help your child build the car.  Please do not "drop off" your son or daughter.  The purpose of this work day is for us to help you and your child in building the Pinewood Derby car.  We will have stations set up to cut out the car, sand it, install the wooden dowels, install weights, paint the car, polish axles, sand tires, libricate tires and axles, and make sure the car is adjusted correctly.  You should be able to build the car in about 1.5-3 hours start to finish.

Location:

Custodians Workshop in the Gateway School building.  (Wooden building behind the church van parking lot between the school and the West Wing)

Time:

Start at 8:00 am    End at 2:00 pm

Because the car building process takes about 2 hours, we will not accept new car projects after 1:00 pm.

*You do not need to sign up for this event.  Just show up!*
